We have an OSCMAX 2.5.1 store. We already have implemented 2 additional product fields (products_purch_acct and products_sales_acct) which contain the accounting codes for purchases and sales of the product. These fields are already in the Admin side (admin/[url removed, login to view]) and are entered manually.
We wish to fill these fields by selecting from a drop down menu. We require an admin interface integrated into the OSCMAX Admin menu which will allow us to enter the appropriate codes for a product type. e.g. we might enter "Tripod" as the product type and then the corresponding purchase account code (say, 12345) and sales account code (say, 34567).
When we enter a new product or edit an existing product we will now have a drop down menu to choose the product type "Tripod" and when it is selected the corresponding codes are entered into products_purch_acct and products_sales_acct.
