It is a single page where a team of 4 to 8 people will blog one goal per day.
It is sort of a goal marathon game.
1 - There will be one column for each person.
2 - Each person can only post one goal per day
3 - By the end of the day, each person can mark "completed" or "not completed"
4 - If there is a not completed goal, the user is not allowed to post more goals in the column.
5 - The column grows downwards with time, and the most recent posts are displayed on top.
6 - The user can decide if the goal is worth 1, 2 or 3 points
7 - The height of the box containging the goal will be twice or triple depending on the points it is worth
8 - The height of the box should not grow if the text overflows, but it should expand if necessary when mouseOver
9 - Do not worry about user authentication. Let everyone post on any column. This is a team of trust, nobody will post in the wrong column.
10 - I leave the rest of the usability features up to your intuition and expertise as a programmer.
I am using this simple project to choose a good programmer for long term relationship. If you want to bid on this one, take 5 min. to make a quick demo in Excel (or your preference) of how the page with some posts would look like. Just to show your understanding.
I do this because I don't want to give the project to someone that didn't read carefully.
I might award the project to more than one freelancer, as a contest.
This shouldn´t take you more than 3 hours to complete. So please don't bid if you think it would take you longer.
Feel free to ask me questions using the clarification board if needed.
Thank you! and happy coding...
