I'm working with the submission form at [url removed, login to view] with wordpress. The submission form can be found under "Local Capture Tool" at: [url removed, login to view]
Here's my current problems that I need fixed.
Problem #1: Currently, the submission process assigns customer id's by auto-incrementing the submissions in the database.
Solution #1: I want the form to use the user id numbers as the customer id instead of auto-incrementing the customer id numbers in the database. The code to show the user id in wordpress can be found at: [url removed, login to view]
Using this code, I want the user id to be a hidden field in the submission form so it will be added to the database as the customer id.
Problem #2: Currently, the user enters his details in the form, then submits the form and the details are stored in the database. But when he returns to edit his details, he has to enter every detail again.
Solution #2: I want the user's details to be pulled from the database, using the user's wordpress user id and customer id (if you think this is the best way to do this) and auto-populate the form so he can simply edit his details instead of having to re-enter every entry.
[url removed, login to view] also has an export tool to export the user info in the database into a csv file. This must also include the customer id as described above.
