i am using [url removed, login to view] for my ticketing system and can;t seem to get the email piping and mail fetcher to start working.
what i basically want is that if someone sends a message from hotmail or gmail account, and do not send it from support ticket system, i want this email sent from personal accounts to be captured into the ostciket system.

you may use POP3/IMAP account polling instead. osTicket will poll an external POP3/IMAP account on a regular basis, retrieve email messages and convert them to tickets. It is best suited for individuals with remote mail account(s) and/or limited access to mail delivery settings.
I think the above comment is what i need as well
