Configure Cacti on windows for network monitoring

Hi, I have over 14 years of experience configuring and using free and open source software and GNU/Linux. I also worked as NOC operator configuring Cacti to monitor traffic of routers and switches of Internet companies in 81 locations distributed among 13 Argentine provinces. Do you need monitoring with Cacti the 24 ports on each switch? Alternatively have you thought that the server is GNU/Linux? This may facilitate the maintenance and upgrades. Best regards, Daniel
