Coder or coders experienced with site indexing required.
This is a project to create a new website that will search multiple CAD Forums and display the results in one tabulated list similar to a forum table. Initially the site will index 10 forum sites including some for AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER, Inventor and Catia.
The indexer must be light weight and consume low amounts of server resuorces while running continuously to kee the indexes updated. The results listing will include only the thread starter and contain a title (linked to thread), description, author, # of replies, source site (with link), index date, and the total # of views.
The home page will contain a selector list so the user can select one of the CAD applications listed above and some keywords to search for. The site will then search its indexed for the selected app and display the results.
