Install & tweak open source apps

We are looking to set up a forum, a user submission news app, a member profile tool, and an address list integrated with Google Maps. This is the first step of expanding our online community. If you are interested in doing the full project, not only this piece, give us two bids: one for this project, and a comment about your estimated charge for the full community. You have to have experience with css-based design, AJAX, and write good php code (or ruby, if that's your thing). :) To see the full scope of the entire project (*** this bid request is just for the first piece, the attached document is for the whole project, it's just an FYI ***). We are looking for somebody who is available to do the whole project - in the interest of time, budget, and to find a good resource we are posting this bid with just one initial piece of the whole thing. So, for this first piece we only need the following: - user submitted news: see [url removed, login to view] as example, there are several open-source apps with this functionality on sourcefourge. we need your help in installing it and customizing some icons for it. - forum: use popular open source forum like phpbb or similar(explain what drives your decision for a specific forum recommendation) ??" customize to hide platform origin; - member list: something similar to myspace, just be able to create profile and search for & add friends - address list: directory of addresses with google maps integration; backend ability to create new address categories, and set default returns per local zip code (for example: local store locations; local parks; etc.); home page showing google map of local area with spots available for the area. Below allowing to change zip code, and select/view different categories of addresses. Form to add an address, admin approval before made available. - design: adopt these items for a consistent look. not really looking for "design". ideally copy of google style of non-design consistent for all of these items.
