This application has some similiarities to MySpace, but is implemented differently. See the attached document for requirements. This requirements document is very end-user focused so it is only part of the requirements. This system must be a complete system with security, maintenance, and administrative functionality included. This is a large project so I will need a proposal on what and how you propose to meet or exceed these requirements. Include scope, deliverables, schedule, approach, assumptions, hosting requirements, and any additional sections that demonstrate that you are capable and understand what is needed. Creative thinking is recommended. Methodology is important. Your approach must deliver demonstrable functionality on a regular schedule. Agile Method approaches are our ideal approach. Technology is open, but it is believed that either Ruby on Rails or a well designed PHP solution will serve our needs. You may propose either or both solutions with pros and cons of each. You must follow web standards. XHTML 1.1 strict or better. Again, a good proposal is very important. If you just provide a quote then your bid will most likely be refused. This system is for one of our clients.
