Ecwid is an online shopping cart that ties into Joomla sites very well. There is a Single Sign On Solution that exists however it doesn't bind as well as it should leaving most of the functionality back to the Ecwid side when the signing on is created.
The plugin is located here: [url removed, login to view] and is free to download.
The major complaint of how it functions is here.
the issues are...
Customer comes to site...
Customer logs into joomla site
Navigates to joomla ecwid shop, buys something then clicks check out.
1. The customer has no account area
A. cannot add or change address
B. cannot view orders made
The reason for this is because most of the functionality of Ecwid still needs to exist as Ecwid. The only thing that needs to happen is that when you log in with your joomla site the user should be logged into Ecwid as well. And when the user goes to a products page their account center should be there as well.
This needs to work for joomla 2.5 at least.
