I have a small widget I'd like designed on my test website, to be implemented exactly as is on the the production site when complete.
The widget is a small sidebar size Ajax size calendar which only shows the current day, and lets you type in whatever you'd like in the box. Typing and moving the mouse away saves the entry into the test MYSQL database. It will be essentially for logging 255 characters or less of exercise detail for the day.
The widget displays the box for the day with the day # (like a small one-day at a time desk calendar) and to the top left and top right should be buttons to advance a day or go back a day. When changing days, the text in the textbox changes to what is in the database for that day (all async without refresh).
So basically people will just be logging notes into the system each day, and later analysis will be done with the data in the database, so it's a quick, simple data entry widget. The navigation back and forth days is there in case someone forgets to enter their entry for a few days, they can go back. Or read what they did previously, add and edit.
It also must be customizable via CSS so that i can apply the exact look and feel I want. From you, simple functionality and basic styling just enough to delineate the parts - I will provide a quick sketch of what the finished product should look similar to....
Database credentials and FTP access to the test site will be given for you at the start of the project.
This should be pretty straight forward job, and if JQUERY can be used at all for this, that would be even better since I have worked with JQUERY some (still a JQUERY novice, thus why I am posting this job).
