A shortnews similar template based news system. Features such as: - should be integrated with vBulletin (use exiting forum login, user database, use of one MySQL database->support database prefixes) - require users to be registered to post (register through vB) - different new categories and subcategories, customizable/editable - news sorting by date and by popularity (unique clicks/views, number should be shown 4 every news, admin should be able to disable show clicks/views feature): top news and latest news - search - user's control panel with several features such as: (both with a WYSIWYG rich text editor with all options in vBulletin 3 (smilies, IMG, linkify word/expresion, parse urls, quote etc.): - my signature(similar to the vB signature; admin will decide in admin panel the max. kb and pixel size allowed for images in signature and max. signes number for the signature's text+links) - submit news, also with a field to write the source url for the news in; admin will decide max. kb and pixel size for pics in news; later broken images shouldn't be shown; news should have a date/hour stamp, and the name of the user that submitted it. - newsticker just like on shortnews, customizable by user and integratable into his/her website, vertical and horizontal scrolling, with arrows 4 speed up/down, should show last 10 approved news (on categories: e.g. TESTS(bold)+++ News Title), custom message option for admin (for ads etc.) - news archiving (everything older than 30 days) - users can comment each news (like shortnews with resumed look, click on comment to read it, or click on "read comments" to read them all), also with a WYSIWYG rich text editor with all options, with date/hour stamp. Admin area should include: - approve/decline news - edit news - add/delete category/subcategory - everything else mentioned above Design and look should be completely customizable.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
