A secure web based scheduling application needed that will allow indedpendent physician contractors and management companies to post, update, claim coverage for old and new job opportunities.
physicians should be able to enter there own weekly or monthly schedule (availability) . For example (July 24 from 1pm to 2pm, July 25th 10am to 10:30am, etc)
once this is done the corresponding managment company will get an email alert
The updated physicians schedule should sync with the Management companies posted schedule to notify Management company of physicians availability
Vice versa, when a management company enter their schedule a physician, who has already entered their schedule, should get immediate notification of coverage openings that correspond with his/her schedule (this should be done on a day to day , hourly basis)
Physicians will get email notifications of coverage period theyve committed to. For instance if a doctor is schedule for a thursday 3:30 pm group he/she should recieve an email reminder Wed at 3:30---they should have the option to filter these reminders to fit there needs
The email reminder will have a link embedded in it that will require the physician to "accept" or "deny" the coverage opportunity
Once the physician chooses one of these options the corresponding management company should get an email notification
based on a physician coverages a running hourly total should be calculated each month for the management company to see. For instance, a detailed report of where the physician covered, what day and total number of hours .
I would like a google maps integration that allows a physician to obtain directions to the coverage site (based on address posted by management company). Directions will be based on physicians home/mailing address in his/her profile
changes to schedule (cancellations, time change, etc) should be automatically updated and the management company and that particular physician who is scheduled in that time slot should recieve an email.
If a physician cancels last minute the management company should have the option of sending out an email/sms alert to all of its registered physicians immediately (all will have the "accept" or "deny" link embeded in email
