Mini trial project which could lead to 100s of hours of work

Thisis a trial project we’re using to find a quality front end developer to workwith long-term (at least 2-3 months, part-time; could be full time).? We’re building a few fun apps using theFacebook platform: a personality quiz app, a nightlife/meet people app, and agift-giving app.? The front-end work willprimarily be slicing mockups to create compliant, cross browser compatible, anddynamic user interfaces.? If you’re goodwith UI design, you will also have a substantial role in designing the mockups.? If you have backend or other app productionskills we can get you working on other stuff too. We’re just looking to see how well you payattention to layout and design details. ## Deliverables Please do not submit a proposal if you’re not interested in follow-on work.? We have weeks if not months worth of work tobe done and more coming.? If we establisha good working relationship we’ll stick with you and refer others to you.? Please code what you think is the appropriatefront-end functionality for the feedback box. ·Below that, on the right, are the user’s overall results (good andbad sides). ·Below that are the user’s individual scores on three personality traits (extraversion, agreeableness, and conscientiousness).? The green bars reflect the user’s scores,which of course vary from person to [login to view URL] each trait description, we show the user how he/she compares to 0-6friends on that trait.? (The number offriends shown depends upon the user’s scores, number of friends he/she has, andthe friends’ scores.? Obviously you donot have this information, so just duplicate what’s shown in the screenshot.) ·On the left side are some basic links and a few boxes comparingthe user to friends and other people. ·All blue words, buttons, and pictures of people should belinks.? After allowing MyType access, choose the“good and bad sides?? quiz on the left.? Take the quiz and you will see your results, which of course looknothing like the mockup provided (the current design of the app is pretty poor), but you’ll see that there’s the same basic content. Ifwe like what you submit, we’ll offer you a much larger project: at least 5-10 times the size of this, and there would be more after that.? If we don’t like what you submit, we’ll stillpay the agreed upon amount (assuming you made a reasonable attempt, of course) but we won’t continue with you.? We’d love to see you propose if you have the following qualifications: ·Strong XHTML/CSS skills. (Know how and when to make CSS reusable. Know how and when to use divs/lists instead of tables) ·Photoshop skills. Be able to slice directly from a mockup. ·jQuery+Ajax & javascript skills ·Can work around browser compatibility issues ·Intermediate PHP skills - be able to code for a view (Understanding of MVC desired) ·Knowledge of SVN ·Strong critical thinking ·Detail-oriented ·Takes a holistic view on a project.? You like the idea of creating a fully working product from a base spec sheet and concept art. ·Can work independently.?
