I'm building a browser-based MMORPG and need a coder for the client-side coding. At this stage, this is what we need to do. Create a javascript that takes a png image file containing several "frames" side by side, and animate that file by displaying one frame at a time. * Link several animation sequences (from different png files) together seamlessly. * Control the speed of the whole animation and/or parts of it. * Control how long specific frames are displayed. * Adjust the "offset" of the frames, that is the placement of each frame (each frame being for instance 60 px wide... the script would basically show frames like 0-60, 61-120, 121-180 etc. Adjusting the offset would be for instance to make one of the frames start at 125). * Display a text and icon beside or ontop of each unique animation. * Move the animation horizontally in the browser window. * Have several animations move simultaneously in the browser window. * Make two animations move toward each other at a specified speed (for instance 10 px/sec) and end up at most 2 pixels away from each other (this is a complex thing to achieve considering that the start positions might be different). * Different screen resolutions cause a problem that will need to be handled. Several animations displayed on a 800x600 screen need to have the same relative distance from each other as when displayed on a larger/smaller screen resolution. To do this in an optimal way we need to do some research/experimentation on performance issues. Like evaluating the performance when moving several objects; how many objects (divs) moving simultaneously can we expect the browser to handle? Or: Is there a difference in performance between animating 1 png file 10 times vs. animating 10 png files 1 time each? Issues like this will have to be examined and tested, not just assumed. Project size: around $500 (bids below $500 also accepted).

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
