I have a flash based form that is used on eBay that I need functionality added.
Currently the form is used to provide customizations to a laptop, such as adding ram, upgrading CPU etc.
What I need added is the following:
-Show dynamic prices next to selections, and total cost at the bottom (ex: user selects [url removed, login to view] CPU upgrade option, the [Add $250] will disappear and the [url removed, login to view] CPU option will now display [Subtract $250], and the total price at the bottom will be updated)
Note: Upon submit, the form currently passes the user-selected values from the flash form to a PHP form (the total cost should also be submitted when implemented), the PHP then processes the user input, and then returns a "success" or "failure" flag.
-The final requirement is the ability to open a new window. The PHP form will pass a success flag, then follow with a URL, which the flash form should process and open in a new window.
I have all of the source files for the current form (actionscript, flash project, etc) and will need the structure to stay the same. Currently the form layout is completely configurable based on an XML file which essentially builds the form's options dynamically . Shouldn't be too difficult for a developer to understand the structure when I send the sources.
Example use case:
eBay Ad is loaded
(cpuDefault="2.6", ramDefault="8", hddDefault="750.54", screenDefault="GLS", baseCost="2499" )
User selects different configuration, form updates total costs and prices.
User clicks submit, form sends cpuSelected, ramSelected, hddSelected, screenSelected, accessoriesSelected, and totalCost to PHP form.
(PHP already developed) PHP processes the form and returns a success flag and a URL
Form gets success flag, clears form selections (to prevent immediate duplicates) and opens the passed URL in new window.
