I need to create a PHP form that will post values to another form without the use of hidden fields. Below is an example of what i mean:
The code for the "Send" form follows. You will notice that there are 3 hidden fields (code1, code2, and code3):
<form action="[login to view URL]" method="post">
Name: <input type="text" name="fname" />
Age: <input type="text" name="age" />
<input type="hidden" name="code1" value="123" />
<input type="hidden" name="code2" value="456" />
<input type="hidden" name="code3" value="789" />
<input type="submit" />
</form>
The code for the "Receive" form follows.
Welcome <?php echo $_REQUEST["fname"]; ?>!<br />
You are <?php echo $_REQUEST["age"]; ?> years old.<br />
Code 1 = <?php echo $_REQUEST["code1"]; ?><br />
Code 2 = <?php echo $_REQUEST["code2"]; ?><br />
Code 3 = <?php echo $_REQUEST["code3"]; ?><br />
The above 2 forms work correctly, I know because I created and tested them. Now I want to pass the values in the hidden fields to the "Receive" form, without affecting the 'Receive" form in any way. This is for an application in which I have to prevent users from using the "View Source" function of their web browser to view or alter the values of the hidden fields.
The solution to this problem is explained here:
[login to view URL]
Once on the above web page, go to the section at the bottom entitled "Post form data WITHOUT using cURL" (my capitaization). This section explains the solution I want to implement in this project.
I have attached a file that contains the 2 forms above and the explanation of the solution.
Your task will be to modify the "Send" form above so that it can send (using the POST method) the 3 hidden field values when the Submit button is pressed and without affecting the "Receive" form's ability to receive and display these 3 values. The "Receive" form code must not be changed, The "Receive" form represents another form in a remote system over which we will have no control. The external "look and feel" of the "Send" form also will not change.
Since I am supplying you with the code for the form that you need to provide me and an explanation of the solution, I would expect you to be able to provide me the modified "Send" form very quickly, if you are proficient in PHP. I need this ASAP.
