First of all, I'm not a pain to work with. I know what I want, I know the basics of how it needs to be done, I just don't know how to do it. I'm a the front-end designer in the project and will be working closely through ftp/AIM type transfers etc. the site is to be as follows. Easy as pie so I'd like to make it a modular cms that can be added to later on. The core of what we build, if solid enough , could be used for other sites if we do this right. If not, I'm not gonna be whining like a bitch with a skinned knee. Here's the basics: there are profiles like personal ads these ads are for ppl in prison/jail (don't question the ethics, it's not my site and I'm doing it for the extra xmas money, so should you be) so, a picture or two for each ad, brief description etc. have small photo gallery. we can even use a script like "gallery" from menalto and just put it in there. whatever is easiest (for pictures) having a watermark on each picture upload would be handy but not necessary so , the admin/owner of site is the one who places/removes/modifies each user's ad, the users will be snail-mailing the info to the admin then the public sees the ads, and if want to reply to ad, pays a small fee. that's it. simple
