I am founding a small three-man entertainment group called Avalar Entertainment, and as our first project, we are creating a free online text-based role-playing game.
The game is to be hosted on Invision PowerBoard forum technology.
What we need is a program to:
1) Keep track of player characters & stats across user accounts.
2) Serve as an engine for player-versus-player battles between characters.
I'm a coding novice, but I believe that what our project requires could be done in PHP, which we have installed on our server.
My colleagues and I have already conceptualized our desired engine to a T. We've even boiled it down to the necessary mathematical variables and equations. All we really need is someone to transform these functions into useable code.
Thank you for your consideration.
