PHP/mySQL Community Back End

The community is centered around textbook exchange and that is the piece of the puzzle that I am currently in search of. After evaluating several other scripts, I decided a custom PHP/mySQL script would be best. The script(s) should have the following features. *Ability for users to register, but registration not required to post to the message boards (User registration should only require Email address and password) *Registered users should be able to edit/delete any of their own posts. *Multiple administator accounts should be able to exist which have permissions to edit existing users and posts to the message boards. *The message index should list the different categories as links to all the posts in that particular category. *A page to post a new thread should have five fields: Category (as a drop down list of categories entered by the administrator), Course, Book Title, Price, and contact email. *Listing page for given category should be a table with 4 columns as follows: Course, Book Title, Price, Contact Link. *The contact email should NOT be displayed on the page of listings, but rather a link to a form that will submit a message to the contact email. Styling to the HTML should be minimal, as I will handle the final customization of the user interface. I would prefer that the code output by the scripts be valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional, but I am flexible on this. Currently my client is using a very manual/labor-intensive way of creating static pages for this site, but if you need to see examples of the current pages, please contact me for links. No payment/shipping information will be handled by the site. Users will make contact via email and arrange for payment and shipping. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Backend: LAMP
