We have an application with Oracle 10g database and Oracle 9iAs. Our requirement is as follows:
1. We would like to integrate all functinalities of Oracle Collaboration Suite like mail, real time collaboration etc. with our existing application
2. Our application carries heavy to very heavy audio, video and text files. Currently each file is necessarily loaded on the central server and users are allowed to download through the Internet.
We want these content files to be put on a CD and send it across to each user. Each content item should be tagged so that each time first browser should check availability of required content at local machine only if it is not available it should go and fetch it from central server. We are not sure whether Oracle lite can be used at local level. We need input from desirable programmers about which technology to use.
