I have a classified concept that I wish to put into business.
You will design a site using ASP.NET and MySQL (or sql server if I decide it's worth the purchase)
I'm not going to divulge my idea, but will offer an identical scenario so that you may bid accordingly.
The site will host garage sale classifieds.
Each sale will have upwards of 10-100 items that the user can enter for public viewing.
Each sale will expire 3 months after it's start date, so all the items need to have an expire on them.
I'd prefer the site be as fast as possible.
**You'll be responsible for doing the following:**
Site design/layout. I'll do the graphics, but you'll lay it out.
User management control panel
Sale/Item management control panel
Feature that allows people to save sales to a favorites list.
Feature that takes the favorites list, and maps each sale on a printable map.
Feature that makes a premium area, similar to Ebay's. 5 premium sales on top of each page.
Other features as recommended by myself or you.
I host the Win2003 Ent. Server and database. I'd prefer you to test things on your end, with the ability for me to check progress online.
As a later project, I'll have you convert it to PHP.
I need to be able to use this as a webservice for other companies. I want the ability for other companies to tap into my database and update my database.**
