I've written an application in Filemaker Pro 6 that reads some files from our websites cart system and converts those in to an input file for our accounting system (MYOB Plus for Mac OSX). What I've done is a bit rough and ready, but it works and handles discount & tax etc. I'd like someone to turn it in to a proper app. where I just put in a date range or range of invoice numers and it automatically creates the records in the correct format for MYOB (TAB delimited separated by an empty row) Currently, I have to download the files I need (orders, order items, products, coupons) and import these in to Filemaker. I then do a find and select the invoice numbers greater than the last batch we ran in. There are some minor complications (to me - not to someone who knows what they are doing). We trade in 2 currencies on the website, so we have to do 2 runs - one for each currency. Both currencies are part of the FMPro record so I just change the amount field in the export. The other issue is that MYOB needs a complete line break after each invoice record. The only thing that seems to work is me importing the file in to Excel first and then adding a new row before each record.

Our cart system is VPASP5.0 ([url removed, login to view]) - MS Access DB. It exports the 4 files needed in text. Those get downloaded to a Mac running OSX 10.3.7. The Filemaekr Pro Version is [url removed, login to view] (I don't mind upgrading if it makes a difference).
