I have employed two programmers in the past to edit an existing shopping cart to add more functionality and unfortunately I did not do a thorough system check (big mistake).
You job is to do a thorough system testing to my current e-commerce shopping cart to ensure that it is functioning as it should and correct any errors that arise.
So far, I have found two problems when testing with IE 6.0 and Firefox:
1) In IE 6.0 the input box produces a double quantity from what was inputted. For example if a person types "2" in the input box it is reflected as "4" in the shopping cart info. Same goes for any other quantity: the amount is always doubled to what was originally typed in.
2) For out of stock items, the add to cart button and input boxes are still present even though they should be absent.
The bulk of my visitors are using the following browsers so the shopping cart must be tested in all the following:
Internet Explorer 7.0 and 6.0
Firefox [url removed, login to view] and Firefox [url removed, login to view]
Opera [url removed, login to view]
Please bid only if you're familiar with system testing and php programming.
