nextgen/wordpress/IE8 small bug needs fixing

i run a smwall charity site [url removed, login to view] - the sponsors page works fine in firefox with a gallery of images that link to external links using nextgen gallery and custom fields plug in - for som reason the gallery fails to display at all in Internet explorer - i need a fix for this - googling the problem reveals that it is probably a css issue
The site runs wordpress and the Thesis theme - i would like to keep the gallery if possible it makes it easy to add new sponsores etc
