I had a new website designed based on the CS-cart backbone. The firm I hired to develop the site was very unprofessional and so I am unwilling to go back to them to get these bugs fixed. I need someone who can fix BOTH issues.
Issue 1: I had them add code to the product page that converts the "add to cart" button to an affiliate link. When a customer clicks "add to cart (renamed buy now)", the system check if there is an affiliate link associated with the product. If there is an affiliate link, then it redirects the customer to the affiliate link. If not, it adds the product to the shopping cart as normal. For an example, see any product on [url removed, login to view] This process works fine, but I also asked them to make sure that the affiliate link opens in a new tab and then the source page then redirects to the category page (page for the category that the product is associated with). That way, if the customer decides to close the affiliate page, they are presented with a list of related alternatives. THE PROBLEM IS that the way it is currently setup causes the affiliate link to be treated like a popup and subsequently blocked. I need someone to fix the code so that it either work the way it was intended (without being blocked) or change the way the affiliate link is done such that no affiliate link is ever blocked.
Issue 2: While making the new site design, the developers did something to make the product combinations no longer function (see any of the shoes on [url removed, login to view]). [url removed, login to view] was going to be a spinoff of the new design, but instead of using affiliate links, we sell shoes directly from this site and we update through a different kind of product feed that works well with product combinations. However, if you go to one of the two shoe examples on [url removed, login to view], when you select any product option from the combination, it comes us with a parsererror "Oops, something goes wrong (parsererror). Please try again." This needs to be fixed. I simply need someone to restore the normal CS-cart functionality.
Both are very small and simple fixes, but I don't have the time to figure it out myself.
