Screen Saver Creator

This project is for a screen saver creator application. That is, a program used to create custom screen savers that can be deployed. It needs to be either entirely in VB or the "creator" portion in VB and the "shell screen saver" that is deployed along with graphics, video, and audio, in C/C++ so that it does not require the VB runtime. The screen saver creator will need to support the most popular image formats, be able to play AVI, MPG, and WMV video files in the screen saver, and have an option for background sound. Text on the screen saver, special transition effects, and basic trial version screen savers will need to also be an option with the ability to create basic registration keys in the creator on a per screen saver project basis. It should, of course, support all the basic screen saver stuff, including password protection. The screen saver creator will output an installer for screen savers created when publishing. The installer can then be uploaded to a web site for others to download. When downloaded, the installer should setup the screen saver on the end user's system, register any dependencies needed, prompt for making the active screen saver, etc. It is acceptable if the screen saver creator portion of the project uses one or two third party components, as long as they are affordable/free or I already own a license for the package (which I do own quite a few imaging packages and XceedZip). If you have created a project like this previously and it is available to look at, please mention this when bidding. Also, please mention if you will be available online via MSN/Windows Messenger or ICQ to communicate during the project. Lastly, please include a time-frame estimate in your bid. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003
