I am an artist based in the uk who is hoping to get funding for a project from readme 100 (they fund artists working with software and encourage outsourcing and have a link to this site). I need a quote for the creation of a plug-in that can be downloaded. I wish to create a short 4 second animation that I can send to the coder to create a plug in filter to be used in the "photoshop"/"iphoto" programmes. My animation will be of the semi transparent particles that appear in my eyes (floaters) and the idea is for people to be able to view their own photos / images through my eyes - the artist's eyes. The floaters will float against a transparent background with no edges. The plug in will make the animation play as a transparent layer on top of the viewed photo/image. I would like it to be possible for the animation will be able to adjust to the size of the background image so that it will not appear very tiny against a high resolution image. If this is not possible then there will have to be some way of adjusting the resolution of the image it is being played in front of. I would love to hear from anyone as to whether this is possible and more importantly how much it will cost. I have ticked the small project box because I am just one person but will consider all quotes. regards Katy
