This project is the start of a simple drawing application.
***PLEASE NOTE, THE ATTACHED ZIP FILE REFERS TO HTML 5 AND SVG, THIS HAS BEEN MOVED TO A SILVERLIGHT TECHNOLOGY NOW, PLEASE THINK SILVERLIGHT - NOT HTML 5 SVG - I CANNOT BE BOTHERED TO CHANGE THE DOCUMENT ****
We already have a solution in place, although it requires to be taken to the next level and be fully developed in Silverlight, it has to be quick and efficient.
A current version is available to view and play with from

username demoe (yes it does have an e on the end)
Only the navigation part will be useful from this system and will be available to the developer, there will however be one or two tweaks to it.
As a first stage we require the following.
We require a grid like a cad system in metres where we can place rectangles, or draw polylines to a closed point, draw the shapes, and move the nodes, see the attached zip file for further details, so it is real world units.
The user will login, start a new drawing, give it a name, put these shapes that snap to the grid and it saves to a database, how you save it is up to you in the most efficient manner.
A list to the side will show the rectangles in a list that when clickable, zooms to the shape,
This is all that is required at this stage
[url removed, login to view] (just one username and password at this stage)
2. Create new drawing or open existing one
3. Navigation to pan, zoom around the drawing, extents.
4. Draw a rectangle, or place a rectangle by dragging from one point to another (snap)
4a. drag a node to the side to stretch, drag node on end to move the node and connecting lines.
5. List down the side
6. Delete a shape (also remove from list)
7. Save drawing
Maybe use jquery to a webservice to save the shapes and info?
