This One Off tool is a utility that will accept the following:
Env : (Group of machines in which the computer that's
gonna accept the file is in.)
Source Machine :
Source Machine Path : (in which the one off to be applied
is located on).
Target path : (in which the one off will be applied on)
username : (to log in,and impersonate in the target computer)
passwd : (same)
Date :
One Off type : Dll (Com+ object),.asp page or .sql procedure.
Once this information is gathered the one off file will be applied:
In case of an .asp page is as simple as accesing the
target machine and renaming the old file to the [login to view URL]
and copying the one to be applied on the target path.
In case of an .dll (which is a COM object being used at
the time) we would have to shut down the COM objects
in the target machine, rename the old .dll and copy the new one
and once again bounce the [login to view URL] all needs to be done
from the application,nothing manual).
The SQL part would be the one that will provide the
best monetary compensation,as this is the most serious part
of the project (and the real app upon acceptance, will
be a web app,not a windows one)
You,as a developer will have to provide a demo developed
in C# with the .asp and .dll functionatily already done to be considered, also create a SQL database to store a detail
info of every transaction, what i will be able to query
from.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you.
Chad.
