Book illustration - Lotus_19

I am a budding author and about to publish a book - fingers crossed! This is my first book.
I require 11 illustrations:
10 black and white sketches to give my readers an idea of each character in the book - I have attached pics off net, but want you to use those to get idea of the age and type of person;
1 pink lotus picture in a hand is for the front cover of my book and I want something like it and I don't want to break any copyright laws (?)
Need asap. They need to be 300 dpi and size 5.5 x 8.5 inches and in jpeg format.
