I need someone who can visit the British Library in London on my behalf and photograph roughly six manuscripts. I already have the exact shelf-marks and call numbers, so you won’t be hunting around the catalog—just pull the items, capture them, and put them back in the condition you found them. Standard-quality images are all I require; a modern phone camera is perfectly adequate as long as the pages are in focus and evenly lit. Flash is not allowed in the Reading Rooms, so you’ll need to rely on available light or a portable, library-approved book light. When you’re done, send the images to me in the original resolution via a shared folder (Google Drive, Dropbox or similar). Please label each file with the manuscript’s reference and page or folio number so I can identify them quickly. You must already have (or be able to obtain) a British Library Reader Pass and be familiar with their handling guidelines for fragile material. If you can schedule a visit within the next two weeks, that’s ideal; let me know your earliest available date when you bid. Deliverables: • Clear, standard-resolution photos of every requested page for each of the six manuscripts. • A brief confirmation that no pages were restricted or missing. That’s the whole job—simple, but accuracy and care with the items are essential.

As a budding photographer and videographer, this opportunity to photograph the British Library manuscripts is exactly the kind of project that I'm looking for. I am deeply passionate about capturing moments and telling stories through visuals, and there's no better place for such stories than the pages of history found in these manuscripts. My personal projects have allowed me to explore light, movement, and emotion, and this unique experience at the British Library will only enhance my storytelling abilities. I come equipped with my own camera and editing tools to ensure consistency and thoughtfulness throughout the entire process. Additionally, my familiarity with CapCut will allow me to craft clean, engaging visuals with creative cuts, effects, and color styles that suit a variety of moods. I understand that accuracy and care are vital in handling fragile materials like these manuscripts, which is why I have made it my priority to approach each project with caution and curiosity. Acquiring a British Library Reader Pass wouldn't pose a problem for me - I strive to be prepared for any challenge that comes my way. If given this chance, not only will I provide you with clear, standard resolution photos of every requested page for each of the six manuscripts but also a confirmation that no pages were restricted or missing.
