This is a photo art project as an application for the "World-Information City" congress in Bangalore, India. The congress is dealing with the term "intellectual property" and the impact of outsourcing IT on individuals and society. If you are a coder, I need you as a co-artist making a self portrait in a certain way. You need to agree that the picture you made is used in all forms (billboards, internet, posters, printing material etc.) in public space. More information about the congress and the specific topics can be found on [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] The image must be digital (.tif, .bmp or .psd) and in very high resolution and quality for printing. I can only view them on Windows; but an additional Mac format would be appreciatied. Here is the idea: Print out paragraphs or single lines of source code you did yourself as a work for hire (for someone). Sue or stick the paper together as a suit or complete (traditional) clothing. This needs to be done with all details like pockets and buttons etc. so that on the photo it really looks like perfect clothing. (Maybe only from the side you take the picture from.) No normal clothing maybe visible on the photo. Take pictures of you (upper part of the body only) in a public space (street in a city or village, crowded park or at a river, a temple, a store, some place you like to be, etc.) wearing this printout clothes. I would like these photos with a somehow surrealistic touch. When we are amongst the winners of the competition, you will be named as an artist. The maximum bid accepted is only a symbolic price I can pay. Please only place a bid when you like the project and can add some idealism.
