TypeScript not compiling to JavaScript in Visual Studio 2017

I've got a mobile app that was written in Visual Studio using Cordova and Ionic 2. The app was building correctly and deployed to the app stores. For whatever reason, last week, changes to my TypeScript are no longer compiling to the [login to view URL] JavaScript file. I've been through the online threads and have come across several posts where people have run into this issue. I've not found a remedy that works for my situation. Looking for someone with TypeScript/Visual Studio experience that can help me get this project TypeScript compiling again.
