Create a Cordova plugin that reads text from the camera

We're looking for an Apache Cordova plugin for iOS & Android that we can use to "scan" a Pokemon card, which will extract the text from the camera, and use that text to match text in our database, similar to how TCG Player do it with their scanner (attached image)
