I need to automate the administration of routine job on a Linux system.
The script should be able ask for input from the user and depending on the inputs it'll run few commands and generate a log file of the output. Like while creating devices it'll ask device size, raid type and Meta etc and based on these parameters it should run few commands to create the devices.
e.g. If I have to create 10 Devices of size 34Gig each. Script will promt me for the inputs such as Device Size, RAID type, disk type and total number of devices.
1. Verify the system for available devices, RAID Type, Disk Types etc.
2. Display final command and let user authorize to run the command.
3. once User athorizes then it runs a set of commands and displays the progress and generates log.
4. Then script will ask for theuser input for Storage Group name, port group name, init group name and masking view name. And will create those groups and add devices to the groups.

Hi, I have experience in perl as well as storage domain and having such experience would help in the project. If given a chance, I can deliver it with best quality and on time. Thanks.
I have extensive knowledge of Linux administration, I have built similar systems in the past and I have a clear picture of the requirements for this one.
