Create a Perl script that parses an HTML file and outputs paginated sort results from a teacher chatboard (web discussion board).
The sorted results will display and function similar to Google's popular search results.
Chatboard posts can be sorted in three modes: author sort, topic sort, and post sort.
Topic and post sort will include an option for reverse sorting as well.
Sort results will be generated in a webpage through a CGI server side include. The URL of the page will call the appropriate sort mode and page number of the sort (see supporting documents).
All HTML and CSS for this project is already completed and supplied - the programmer will be responsible for the parsing and sorting, the output of the sorted data with the proper URL links, and the behavior of the paginated navigation links at the bottom of the sort.
