Attention Flash Ecommerce Site--Project Redo Version 3.0 PLEASE LOOK OVER THIS CONTRACT IT SUPERSEEDS PREVIOUS VERSIONS General Overview. The types of products sold are gift merchandise with many categories for Consumer(s) to buy and receive discounts off merchandise as a member/ reseller. There needs to be an easy admin interface for the Shopping Cart (see below)*. The site needs to be designed so the products show up nicely. An Ecommerce portal design is preferred. *Shopping Cart --*This site is basically a Flash ecommerce site but with one difference. The one difference is…this is just a website that has no connection to the warehouse inventory. So, each time an order has been placed, a receipt of the order form (simplified to understand) is displayed for printout to the customer without paying until item(s) have been confirmed in stock and another copy of the receipt is sent to the company’s file (simplified to understand). Also, but important...... Payment is not allowed unless..... 1. Confirmed in stock offline and delivery deadline (if there is a holiday deadline) was met then.... a. A notification by either--email, phone, mail, or fax to the consumer(s) and A confirmed agreement made by the consumer(s) by either--email, phone, mail, or fax. b. Then consumer(s) using standard credit card (ex. Visa, MasterCard) are charged manually offline. All Money Orders or Certified Check, but no C.O.D.’s, cash, personnel checks are accepted. However, in the event, any Money Orders or Certified Checks received for payment(s) will be cashed immediately, but with the option of a full/partial refund or store credit (towards the next purchase) if the stock product(s) is delay, out of stock, on back order, or discontinued. c. When this process has been met and finalized, Steps will begin and delivery should be 3-4 weeks or sometimes less thereafter. Payment is allowed online only for.... 1. Only for annual Membership/ Reseller Fees and renewal Fee online. a. By using standard Visa, MasterCard or Certified Check, or Money Orders, but no C.O.D.’s, cash, personnel checks. Introduction- a. Will cover the entire first webpage. b. Be played until user selects skip introduction. c. Will have continuous music in the background with the option to turn it off. d. This introduction Webpage will be separate to close by the user (Ex. to allow them gain access to the website quicker than retyping web address, if accidentally closes, or whatever reasons.). e. Flash MX-like Design WILL BE APPLIED---EVERYTIME a user will see a vault, doorway-like opening and closing as if they were being transported thru a sealed passage not the typical click thru to the next html page whenever introduction is completed. f. The final Design of the introduction will always display the domain name in full. 2. Each page will include, but not limited to, the following or size of the exception at the Intro Page.... a. All Selections--Home Page, Products, Help, Account, Checkout, There’s More, Payment, Membership, etc) will be displayed like or similar to file-like [login to view URL] to all users b. Flash MX-like Design WILL BE APPLIED---EVERYTIME a user clicks-thru a link/image/feature, is redirected to other part of the website, or opens any different location within the website they (the user) will see a vault, doorway-like opening and closing as if they were being transported thru a sealed passage not the typical click thru to the next html page. Loading times estimates will depend on the user modems, TCI, Cable, DSL, or any other kind of connection the user may have. c. Flash MX-like Rotating Product Design WILL BE APPLIED---EVERYTIME and EVERYWHERE(if possible) whenever user sees catalog pictures (ex. like [login to view URL]) d. Monthly Selection AREA will be broken into categories, sub-categories (ex. New Arrivals, Holiday Deadlines, Clearance Sale, and etc), featuring rotating New, Holiday, and Clearance images, and will be displayed to all users. Flash MX-like Rotating Product Design WILL BE APPLIED---EVERYTIME and EVERYWHERE (if possible) whenever user sees catalog pictures (ex. like [login to view URL]). e. Search and Find Portal AREA will be used to located products by Price, Catalog Number, Directory (A-Z), type of categories, or Name of Item and will be displayed to all users. f. Membership/Reseller AREA will be broken into categories (ex. Members Sign-in, Join the Club, Reseller, Forgot Pass Word, Forgot User Name), featuring rotating Join the Club images, and will be displayed to all users. g. New Arrivals AREA will be broken into categories, sub-categories (ex. By month, holiday, etc.), and will be displayed to all users. Flash MX-like Rotating Product Design WILL BE APPLIED---EVERYTIME and EVERYWHERE (if possible) whenever user sees catalog pictures (ex. like [login to view URL]). h. Most Popular AREA will be broken into categories, sub-categories (ex. By most popular during the month of, which holiday, etc.), and will be displayed to all users. Flash MX-like Rotating Product Design WILL BE APPLIED---EVERYTIME and EVERYWHERE (if possible) whenever user sees catalog pictures (ex. like [login to view URL]). i. Advertisement AREA will be displayed to all users in three to four locations featuring rotating advertiser images. j. On Sale Area will be broken into categories, sub-categories (ex. On sale during the month of, which pre-holiday Sale, which after-holiday Sale, Clearance Sale etc.), featuring rotating On Sale images, and will be displayed to all users. Flash MX-like Rotating Product Design WILL BE APPLIED---EVERYTIME and EVERYWHERE (if possible) whenever user sees catalog pictures (ex. like [login to view URL]). k. Extra! Extra! Area will be displayed to all users and allowed to update their computer with special features (ex. Make us your home page, Bookmark Us, or etc.) l. Every user will have the ability to hear a pre-selected continuous music in the background with the option turn it off. 3. Home Selection will almost be clone-liked [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] 4. Product Selection will be similar to the Search and Find Portal but broken into categories and sub-categories with an option to locate by Price, Catalog Number, Directory (A-Z), or Name of Item and is provided to all customers. Flash MX-like Rotating Product Design WILL BE APPLIED---EVERYTIME and EVERYWHERE (if possible) whenever user sees catalog pictures (ex. like [login to view URL]). 5. Help Selection will be broken into categories and/or sub-categories (ex. Recent Updates, Shipping and Handling charges, State Tax, Return Policy, New Arrivals, Holiday Deadlines, Clearance Sales, Delivery ETA, Membership Fees, Charges or Payment Arrangements, etc). All information requested will be provided on different web pages to all customers. An option to email a different question will be forwarded on file and sent to back to website’s owner. 6. Account Selection will collect Consumer’s Full Name, email, mailing address, phone number, and prefer form of payment when products are in stock. Customer will be able to see all items purchased based on daily, monthly, and yearly stats, if needed. 7. Checkout Selection will calculate Shipping and Handling current charges between set price ranges, State Tax rates of each item and total rate, ITEM#, thumb print Picture of each item, Brief Description of each Item, SIZE of each item, Quantity of each item, PRICE of each item and total rate, SALE PRICE of each item and total rate. It will provide or list the Consumer’s Full Name, email, mailing address, and phone number on this page. 8. There’s More Selection will list Shipping and Handling current charges between set price ranges and provide State Tax rates, About Us, Our Policy, Delivery Estimates and is provided to all customers. 9. Payment Selection will provide details as below.... A. Payment is not allowed unless…. 1. Each member/Reseller will login to their member/Reseller area. There will also be referral levels or tiers. Initially, there will be a free membership and a paid membership/Reseller. There needs to be the option of adding additional memberships at a later time. This would be through an admin area. Some other features to include are as follows.... Login email confirmation process for free members only. Paying members/Reseller pass this by. 1. A newsletter. Signing up for the newsletter is the same as signing up as a free member. A way to compose and send the newsletter through the administration area. 2. Selected categories and a product search engine. There would need to be a way to add products to through the administration area. 3. All products have a both a thumbnail and full-sized image. Both are sizes are pre-set and the ability to easily add and subtract these images, is essential. 4. There also needs to be certain types of automated email system tied to specific elements of the site. Such as member/Reseller notifications when their account reaches a certain amount of purchases, ordered items, or visits to the website 5. Email method for confirming member/Reseller sign up valid email address. 6. Site Advertising and administration for adding banners advertisements for other companies. 7. Refer a friend script (with referral authentication) 8. Send a card feature. 9. Flash Effects- This site will include the combined the Flash effects from [login to view URL] (like... highlighting each rollover effect buttons and especially the opening and closing down window effect on [login to view URL]) with [login to view URL] to get the best of both worlds. For the End Users 1. Registration Registration is the process to get membership to this site. Membership/Reseller will be available in different levels. These levels are either Free or Paid. Administrator will have the feature to define and modify the parameters for each of the Membership/Reseller levels available. For Paid Members/Reseller there will be discount methods. The Members/Reseller will earn discounts based on their member purchases from the site and also their amount of visits. The Discount for different levels of membership/Reseller will be different and will be definable by the Administrator. 2) Membership/Reseller Structure We will need to be able to set the Discounts either by qty purchased or dollar amount. A Discount amount can be set different for each membership/Reseller. So a higher type member/Reseller can receive a higher Discount than a lower membership. This section is accessible only after validating the user through the Login Process. Post validation the user will be able to perform any of the below mentioned activities. a. Sign up for Newsletters/Contest b. Upgrade their Membership/Reseller c. Cancel their Membership/Reseller d. Update their Info e. Create Banner and Text Links g. View Monthly Summary h. View Click & Discounts Statistics for the Month i. View In-depth Discounts j. View Yearly summary m. Search for products n. Purchase products (at a Discount) For Website Administrators (This is based on current functional modules and is the minimum that will be provided) 1. Members a. Manage Memberships/Reseller types- Define Membership/Reseller types, their billing duration, their yearly fees, their referrals amounts, etc. b. Manage Members/Reseller- List, View Member/Reseller details and statistics. c. Manage Billings- Auto generate invoice and bill the members/Reseller according to their billing cycles. d. Manage Newsletters- Send mail to all news letter subscribers. e. Manage Set Percentage- Allow to make changes or rates per item per member/reseller. 2. Products a. Add/Update products into Categories for Members/Reseller (Images, Description etc) Define (Specials) availability to Membership/Reseller types for a particular time period. Define product prices and discounts for different memberships /Reseller b. After choosing the Product Selection Each item WILL list ITEM#, PICTURE, ITEM DESCRIPTON, SIZE (H x L x W), PRICE, ORDER QTY, ADD TO ORDER FORM, and Checkout ORDER. As well as all listed Selections above. c. Area of rotating products... or images of the products....will be enlarged (ex. 4’x 4’) to give the best possible visual picture because these products are already so small. d. All chosen products to be ordered must be placed on a temporary or final Checkout Selection order form each time with option to Cancel each or all items. e. All chosen products to be ordered must be placed on a temporary or final Account Selection each time with the option for customer to see all items purchased by that non-member/member/reseller based on day, monthly, and yearly stats. It will provide or list the Consumer’s email, mailing, phone number, name of customer on this page. c. Advertising Manage time based, exporting images, and importing images of the rotating images or banners appearing on various pages of the site. d. Editing Functions 1. ALL ITEM AND FUNCTIONS listed will be allowed to updated or removed by i. ITEM# - also allow changes by background, font, size, text, or color ii. PICTURES- also allow changes to view image by zoom-in or zoom-out functions. iii. ITEM DESCRIPTON- also allow changes by font, size, text, or color iv. SIZE- also allow changes by background, font, size (H x L x W), text, or color v. PRICE- also allow changes by background, font, size, text, or color vi. SALE PRICE also allow changes by background, font, size, text, or color vii. Categories- also allow changes by background, font, size, text, or color viii. SUB-Categories also allow changes by background, font, size, text, or color ix. e-MAIL RESPONSES- also allow changes by background, font, size, text, or color x. Help Selection (questions and answers)--also allow changes by background, font, size, text, or color) xi. Monthly selection- also allow changes by font, size, color, text, background, images or deadlines xii. Membership/Reseller Program- also allow changes of discounted products, percentage by price, amount of products purchased, by font, size, color, background, text, or images (if needed). xiii. There’s More Selection will allow changes to Shipping and Handling--charges between set price ranges and State Tax--rates, About Us-- terms and agreements, Our Policy--terms and agreements, and our Delivery Estimates terminology and Holiday Deadlines terminology. Also allow changes by font, size, text, images, background, or color to these selections. e. Databases A DATABASE IS needed.... i. To collect each order separately-per order, per day, per month, per customer and easy to print out. ii. To check and watch customer/Reseller orders by tracking each item to see what sells the most to least. iii. For membership/Reseller and their fees, cancellations, amount order, visits per month or yearly, orders placed per monthly or yearly, passwords, user names, email accounts, and red flags notes. iv. For exporting new pictures with prices and deleting old or outdated pictures. f. Billing When asking the customer about billing information, they would see two separate forms on the same page and then information will be place on file, head of order forms, receipts, and all necessary areas. a. First form--would collect data to make sure the customer personal information ordering or making payment (ex. First Name, Middle Initial (if any), Last Name, Business Name (if any), Mailing Address, Email Address, Phone Number (if any), FAX number (if any), Type of payment (no checks or COD’s), Expiration Date of Card, City, State) of the Purchase. b. The Second form--would ask for the same as the first, but would be asking for the final destination/ the recipient information. i. If the user is the same as the recipient then the customer is able to click a button to insert the copied information already given in the first form. ii. If the user are not (ex. It may be a gift-like sent to another address, etc) then the following needs to be collected as well from the final destination.... (Ex. First Name, Middle Initial (if any), Last Name, Business Name (if any), Mailing Address, Email Address, Phone Number (if any), FAX number (if any), City, State) of the Receiver. Final Notes.... If any parties, not understanding the meaning of terms, words, or phrases throughout this contract, then confer with the U.S.A.-found Webster’s named Dictionary. There is no limit to the amount set of corrections, updates, versions, changes, catalog images, or categories (or subcategories) for this website. Forms, Panels, Background and all others Areas within this project are and can be modified in anyway at anytime seen fit to help or meet the designs specs of the selected Programmer and Project Coordinator agreement formally named ‘Flash Ecommerce--Project Redo’. This agreement states the selected programmer and affiliates can not.... 1. Use or Reused any part of information or any web designs/features to design another site. 2. Place any type of tracking or monitoring program/script within the website. 3. Use any kind of logo or linkage to promote the company or people whom design it. 4. Use the ideas to build an exact website copy without a written consent by the Project Coordinator. However, the Programmer/Web-Designer can inform other internet users by listing their name and any related information about their company in the html version under of the html code. A user will be to locate the Webmaster information only by choosing the right clicking the mouse and selecting the ‘VIEW SOURCE’ to see the html code. Project Coordinator, as the buyer, can collect a full refund of all or any payment made including the down payment, If.... 1. The website is not made 2. The website is partially made 3. The website is not running as intended 4. If the web programmer delays for progress for more then 15 days at any time 5. If the web programmer does not follow the minimum requirements of listed specs above 6. If the web programmer passes the web design project to other company or person to build 7. If the web programmer asks/demands more monetary funds/ USD than listed above to continue/ finish project 8. Or if the web programmer takes more time 75 days to complete (starting after initial contract is signed and dated). A final written and signed letter by Project Coordinator can only be view as or perceived as to anyone reading this, as a meaning or definition of completion of the Flash Ecommerce Site--Project Redo. The difference of the bid, as final payment, will be made to the Programmer of the web design contract. This contract supersedes any and all versions of the online contract found at [login to view URL] AS of 18 July 2002...
