- Convert 50 year old "Theory of Operation" to schematic using modern components
2021 is the 50th anniversary of the Kenbak-1, which the Computer History Museum of Mountain View, CA has identified as the "first personal computer". I would like to create a replica design of this computer using commonly available modern components. I would like the attached Theory of Operation document converted to a schematic diagram. Ideally, this schematic would be in KiCAD, but that is not 100% necessary.
The original used 132 integrated circuits and incandescent lamps. Those can be reduced if possible but I do not want to use a microcontroller (Arduio/Atmel/etc). I would like the design to use TTL ICs and LEDs.
