Hello, I can review your rigid PCB and FPC flex design before manufacturing and provide a quick turnaround. My review will cover the diode, fuse, FPC connector, solder connection between the rigid PCB and flex cable, trace widths, clearances, current handling, manufacturability, and potential reliability issues. I also have experience designing PCBs for demanding automotive and industrial applications, where thermal performance and component reliability are critical. For your 175°C operating requirement, I can specifically review component ratings, PCB/FPC material suitability, copper and trace design, soldering considerations, and areas that may be affected by long-term high-temperature exposure. You can provide the design files and your review criteria, and I can go through the complete design and deliver clear feedback with recommended corrections before you proceed to manufacturing. I am available to start immediately and can provide a fast turnaround. Best regards, Mahmoud

Hi, I can review the complete rigid PCB + FPC design before manufacturing, including the diode, fuse, FPC connector, soldered flex connection, clearances, routing, and short-circuit criteria. I have 10+ years of PCB design and electronics experience, and I can specifically review the design for 175°C operation, including component temperature ratings, PCB laminate/Tg, solder joints, copper, connector/FPC materials, and thermal expansion. At 175°C, material and component selection is critical; standard FR-4 may not provide sufficient margin depending on its Tg and operating duration. I can give you a quick, practical pre-manufacturing review and clearly flag anything that could become a reliability issue. Please send the PCB/FPC files and the short criteria, and I can start.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can provide a focused pre-manufacturing review of the rigid PCB + solderable FPC assembly, with 175°C operation as a primary design constraint rather than treating it as a standard PCB review. I’ll review the schematic/layout and specifically check: • Diode and fuse ratings/derating at 175°C • Connector/FPC contact temperature and material ratings • PCB laminate, copper, solder mask and surface-finish suitability • FPC material, adhesive, stiffener and solder-joint temperature limits • Trace current capacity and temperature rise • Creepage/clearance and insulation margins • Thermal expansion/mechanical reliability between PCB and FPC • Footprints, solderability and manufacturing risks • DRC/DFM issues that could affect fabrication or assembly • Your supplied short-circuit/functional criteria I’ll return a concise review identifying pass / concern / required change items, with corrected design files where necessary and clear reasoning for every recommendation. I understand the 175°C requirement is the critical qualification point. I can start quickly once you provide the rigid PCB, FPC files, BOM/datasheets and your criteria, and I’ll keep the turnaround focused on getting you safely to manufacture.

Hi I am a senior PCB design engineer with 7+ years of experience in high-reliability electronics, including high-temperature PCB assemblies, power paths, FPC interfaces, and DFM reviews. I have reviewed and released 50+ PCB designs for manufacturing, with particular attention to thermal derating, creepage/clearance, copper current capacity, component selection, and mechanical constraints. Approach ✅ I will review the diode, fuse, connector, copper geometry, and FPC solder interface against your electrical, thermal, and mechanical criteria. ✅ I will verify the 175°C operating requirement, including component temperature ratings, PCB material/Tg, soldering considerations, thermal expansion, and derating margins. ✅ I will check placement, pad geometry, clearances, FPC bend/solder constraints, current paths, and manufacturability, then provide specific layout corrections. Questions ✅ What is the expected continuous/peak current through the fuse and FPC, and what voltage does the circuit operate at? ✅ Is 175°C the continuous operating temperature or a short-duration peak, and where is this temperature measured? ✅ Do you already have the PCB/FPC material stack-up and approved component temperature ratings? Best, Yaroslav

✅✅✅✅✅ I can perform the pre-manufacturing review of both the rigid Fuse & Diode PCB and the soldered FPC, with particular attention to the 175°C operating requirement. At this temperature I would not limit the review to normal DRC. I’ll check the complete thermal stack-up: PCB laminate/Tg, FPC polyimide and adhesive/coverlay construction, diode and fuse temperature ratings, connector/FPC interface, solder joints, copper/current paths, clearances and thermal expansion effects. I’ll also verify schematic/layout consistency, footprints, polarity, pad geometry, FPC solderability, creepage/clearance and manufacturing/assembly risks. Any issues I find will be clearly identified and corrected where the supplied files allow it. For a 175°C application, material selection is especially important because the limiting element can be the adhesive, coverlay, connector or solder interface rather than the PCB substrate itself. I can work from your existing CAD/Gerber/BOM files and prioritize a quick turnaround. If you send the rigid PCB, FPC files, BOM and your short criteria, I can start with the thermal-critical areas first. Please also provide the continuous vs peak temperature profile and exposure duration; that will determine how aggressively the materials and component ratings need to be qualified.
