*** PRIVATE MESSAGE QUOTE ***
Greetings, Adrian. We have seen your portfolio and we are interested in working with you. If you are interested and satisfied by our offer, we can begin with a paid sample. If you have any comments or thoughts, please share.
** WORK & RATES **
We usually pay our freelancers per 16:9 layouts. E.G. We pay the price of a full drawing for a 16:9 layout, we pay 50% more if it’s 24:9 (50% wider; total of 1 drawing and a half) and 100% more when it’s 32:9 (double the width; basically two connected drawings)...etc
Our rate for design of a Level 2 background (medium complication) amongst the artists we are currently working with varies between $[url removed, login to view] and $18 depending on the artist and their skill.
This work is not from scratch as I have explained in the job description, you will be given a layout that you need to develop more.
The associated file is an exact example of what you will be given. Level of horizon and some perspective points are marked, the layouts of objects are drawn with notes defining them.
Your development will be enriching the designs aesthetically and adding all the required details.
Note: you need to draw the lineart in separate layers according to the draft layers.
** OFFER **
Below are the rates of our currently most expensive artist per background design:
Level 3: $24 (most complicated)
Level 2: $18
Level 1: $15 (simplest)
We can’t go far above our budget, but we do appreciate your experience and portfolio and we would like to be fair with you. Since your offer was “around $30†without specifying sizes, we would like to meet on a middle ground by suggesting the following:
Level 3: $32 (most complicated)
Level 2: $24
Level 1: $20 (simplest)
As we have already stated, those prices are per 16:9 layout. A wider layout means additional payment per amount of extension. And the work is not from scratch either.
We hope that the offer is satisfying and the work outline to be easier than you have expected.
Example: Based on those rates, our payment for the design of the attached file would be $77.5, because it breaks down to 2x Level 3 backgrounds plus [url removed, login to view] Level 2 background, which means (2 x $32) + ([url removed, login to view] x $18) = $64 + $13.5 = $77.5
** PAID SAMPLE **
If you would like to try working with us, we are open for a paid sample. We will do this with you in the form of an hourly project. The budget can be below $30 and [url removed, login to view] will charge you only for 10%, not $5.
The work layout has already been explained to you, you need to design the background for the inker.
Initially, if you would like to do the sample, we want you to do the Level 3 background on the right end ONLY. You can leave the rest blank. This background begins from the building with the boxes on it and ends at the right border of the drawing, and the reward of completing its design is $32.
