Build a REST API

TASK:
Build a REST API that connects to a MySQL database with several million records. The API should be integration-ready with RapidAPI, which I will add the API to.
Skills / experience in MySQL, Express, Node JS and RapidAPI.
API specs:
- Read access only to the MySQL database
- Access to different MySQL tables in the database
- Query constraints (up to 2 nested query parameters & query parameters in a list)
- Sorting by date published and/or id (MySQL primary key)
- Limit number of records retrieved
- Hosted on linux server
The applicant will aid in the deployment of the API.

Features added on integration with RapidAPI:
- API key to restrict access to API
- Token-based rate limiting to limit API access based on the number of IPs, sessions, and tokens
- Client-side caching
- Log of all system requests and responses
- Https enabled
