I’d start by diagnosing before changing anything: review CloudWatch CPU/memory/load patterns, system and application logs, Nginx/PHP-FPM status and limits, swap/memory pressure, EBS behaviour and the relevant systemd/kernel settings. That should tell us whether the crashes are coming from application workers, resource exhaustion, configuration limits or the EC2/AWS layer rather than making random tuning changes.
