With cards and Google Pay working and only Apple Pay failing on capture, it's almost always one of three things: the merchant domain isn't fully registered with PayPal for Apple Pay, the apple_pay payment_source isn't attached to the order correctly, or the token reaches the frontend but never makes it into the create-order call on the Laravel side. Fastest first move is logging the exact PayPal order JSON and the capture response — that usually surfaces the failure within minutes. Sandbox is misleading here too; PayPal's Apple Pay sandbox doesn't fully mirror live, so part of the fix is verifying against the live merchant config. Is it failing as a created-but-uncaptured order in PayPal, or does the order never get created at all?
