Presto QA – Audio Review App Project Brief Job Title Build a SoundCloud-like Audio Review Web App ([login to view URL] + Supabase) Overview We are building a lightweight, mobile-first internal web app where employees listen to short audio clips (Voice AI orders) and give a quick thumbs-up / thumbs-down / magical wand (for extremely strong positive clips) rating. The experience should feel clean, fast, and app-like (SoundCloud-style) — not an internal dashboard and not Slack-based. This project is structured in two phases. Phase 1 is a clearly scoped MVP. Phase 2 adds PWA and push notification polish once Phase 1 is validated. Phase 1 – Core Build (MVP) User Experience: - Mobile-first web app - Email magic-link authentication (no passwords) - Each user is assigned automatically assigned 10 random audio clips from the past week from a repository stored in in S3 & Redshift (where audio clips are added each day) - One clip shown at a time - Audio player with waveform and scrub - Three large buttons: thumbs up - Good / thumbs down - Needs work / magic wand - Magical experience (extremely strong positive clips) - Rating saves instantly and auto-advances, Ratings are tagged to each audio clip and pushed back into S3 & Redshift - Completion screen after all 10 clips are reviewed UI/UX Requirements: - Single-screen, distraction-free experience - SoundCloud-like waveform audio player - Works well on phone, tablet, and desktop - Minimal chrome (no sidebars, no dashboards) Functional Requirements: - Magic-link login via email - Row-level security so users only see their own assignments - Ratings persist reliably (no double-submit on refresh) - Assignment logic: each user always has exactly 10 unrated clips - Assignment generation via scheduled job or callable endpoint - Secure audio access (signed URLs or authenticated storage) - Transcript preview with expand/collapse (transcripts already exist alongside each audio clip on Redshift) Deliverables: - Production-ready [login to view URL] app deployed to Vercel - Supabase project with schema, auth, and RLS policies - Clean responsive UI with waveform audio player - Assignment generation logic - Simple export path for ratings (SQL view or endpoint) - README with setup, deployment, and handoff instructions Budget: $8,000 – $12,000 (fixed) Timeline: ~1–2 weeks Phase 2 – App-like Polish & Engagement Phase 2 begins after Phase 1 is live and validated internally.
