[Not a bot] I have 13 + years of proven experience in releasing quality product to market. I have depth knowledge in automation which covers flutter apps, react native apps, web applications. I have incorporated LLMs, used MCP servers, added AI agents to the framework which reduces flaky tests. Questions: How do you test webhook idempotency and handle simulated external service outages? * If command is Idempotent, then it should never create duplicate enteries in db. Most obvious impact would be when there are model changes and you try to apply migration over it. * One more example would be testing race conditions. Basically simulate the API response. * We can even do a dry run of the script (not similar to running it in local server) and validate the stability. Most of the time, dry run is first preference rather actually running the script. This helps in pin pointing detailed testing effort. Which tools or scripts do you use to validate programmatically generated PDFs? * We have libraries like pdf-parse, pdf2json. Logic for all such libraries is downloading the pdf, saving it locally and then parse using pdf parser. Concept is same for all. I would be not able to share any github links as i maintain privacy for the work done. If you feel am capable to deliver the solution, then lets connect and discuss further. I haven't got much opportunities in freelancer platform.

Your BMS has several high-risk areas that require more than basic UI testing: webhook idempotency, multi-stage state transitions, PDF generation consistency, RBAC enforcement, and third-party integration resilience. My approach would focus on building a reliable regression suite around those critical workflows instead of only testing isolated screens. For webhook idempotency and outage simulation, I typically validate repeated payload delivery using mocked replay scenarios and request fingerprinting/assertions against database state to ensure duplicate processing does not occur. For external service failures such as Quotient or SharePoint outages, I simulate timeout, retry, malformed payload, and partial-success conditions using Postman/Newman collections, mocked endpoints, and controlled fault injection to verify retry policies, dead-letter handling, audit logs, and user-facing sync indicators. For PDF validation, I use automated assertions with PDF parsing libraries to validate text content, structure, metadata, pagination consistency, and dynamic fields. Combined with Playwright visual checks, this helps detect layout regressions in generated Job Cards and LOC documents. I can build E2E automation using Playwright integrated with API-level validation for Spring Boot endpoints, covering RBAC scenarios, approval flows, responsive UI behavior, and state-machine-triggered emails/documents. I also provide reproducible bug reports with logs, payload traces, and environment context. Regarding previous QA artifacts, I can share representative automation structure, API test examples, and test strategy samples during discussion.

Hi, Your platform combines complex business workflows, third-party integrations, document generation, and role-based permissions, so the priority should be building reliable regression coverage rather than only testing individual features. For webhook idempotency, I would repeatedly send identical payloads while verifying that only one business action is processed, then test retries, duplicate deliveries, invalid signatures, delayed events, and simulated API outages to ensure the application recovers gracefully without creating inconsistent data. For generated PDFs, I typically validate both the API response and the document output by checking expected text, metadata, formatting, and business values programmatically, complemented by visual verification for layout-critical documents. For UI automation, I would recommend Playwright due to its reliable cross-browser support and strong debugging capabilities, while using Postman/Newman for API regression and integration testing. The goal would be a maintainable test suite covering RBAC, workflow state transitions, document generation, third-party integrations, and responsive behavior. I don't have a public QA automation repository or test assets that I can share, but I can discuss my testing approach in detail and adapt to your existing QA standards. Could you share whether a staging environment with mocked Quotient and SharePoint integrations is already available for automated testing? Jaroslav Caprata

Webhook idempotency I test by replaying the same Quotient payload with identical event IDs and asserting one DB write, then simulating outages with WireMock/Toxiproxy to confirm retries and dead-letter behavior. For PDFs, I extract text with pdf-parse and pixel-diff layouts with Playwright snapshots against a golden Job Card. Plan: Playwright suite for the 4 RBAC flows, Newman collection for Spring Boot + SharePoint Graph, PDF assertions on Job Card and LOC. On links, I'll share a redacted repo in chat before we start. One flag: NextAuth CSRF tokens trip up Postman runs unless the login flow is scripted first. Which role should I begin scripting with, Director or Project Owner? Cheers Shayan

Hi there, You've got a detailed stack and workflow for this BMS, and I see the need for both manual and automated E2E testing across job management, document workflows, and tight integration points. I'll create regression test scripts in Playwright or Cypress for all four user roles, validate API/webhook interactions in Postman, and cover PDF generation, email triggers, and SharePoint file operations as you described. For RBAC and security, I'll include audit logging, CSRF/XSS, and API rate-limiting checks, and test responsive UI across desktop, tablet, and mobile. I won't alter any core workflows or production data during testing, and will flag any scenario that could impact live integrations or user permissions for review before proceeding. One thing I'll bring is automated validation for PDF content to catch template rendering issues that often slip past manual checks. I'm motivated to build my reputation here with hands-on, reliable delivery. Ready to get started as soon as you share access to your test environment and endpoints. Is there a preferred approach you want for mocking third-party outages, or should I propose one? Best regards, Nataliya H.

Hello, I'm relatively new to Freelancer, so I understand if a lack of reviews raises questions. I'd like to address that with substance rather than promises. I've spent the last two years working as a Java Backend Developer at Coherent Pixels Systems, where I've been responsible for designing and maintaining production Spring Boot microservices. My work has included: Building RESTful and GraphQL APIs with clean, optimized resolver logic Implementing JWT-based authentication and Spring Security for secure access control across multi-tenant systems Improving API performance through query optimization and Redis caching Writing well-tested code using JUnit and Mockito, with SonarQube integrated into the CI/CD pipeline for code quality Delivering full microservice modules — including a school management system (auth, payroll, and parent portal services) and an AI-driven recruitment platform with automated interview scheduling I approach every project with the same standard I'd apply to production code at my current job: clean architecture, proper testing, and clear documentation. I communicate progress regularly and don't disappear mid-project. I'd be glad to discuss your requirements in more detail and how I'd approach the implementation. Best regards, Ameenul Hasan
