Hi Tomasz. If you recall, you made a script for me last October which took mail from one Gmail account and put it into another via IMAP. I'm looking for a similar script, but with an important difference.
Like before, this new script will log into Gmail via IMAP and check to see if there are any messages in a particular folder. If not, it'll simply terminate. If there are, instead of moving the messages to another account, it will send those messages to a specific email address defined in the script.
Here's the important part. When it sends those messages, the From field and subject lines must remain intact. I'm not trying to forward the message, I'm trying to pass it from my email address to another address as if it had been addressed by the original sender. Does that make sense?
There are no nefarious purposes here. I'm still trying to find a help desk I like. I only want my clients to have to deal with one email address, so I want to be able to mark emails as helpdesk tickets, then have them sent to my helpdesk email address.
I have attached the old script, which probably has half of what you need for this project.
If you're not interested, I'll post another project here on Freelancer.
You did the last script for $35. Is $45 good for this one?
Thanks! Hope you're doing well.
