Hello. I am really happy to help you out of this project. I can design this product nicely. Have designed so many products using Ethernet TCP/IP Modbus as well as Modbus via RS485. Will use MCU like PLC,STM32,Arduino,Atmega,PIC,.etc and the hardware will be designed using Altium,kicad,eagle. Hi, I'm an electrical engineer with 20 years experience and have worked on a design including a gateway between LoRa and Modbus TCP. The project was initially designed on Arduino and the final boards used an atmel microcontroller. I've subsequently looked into various methods of handling the interference due to the high contention ratio of LoRa in some environments. Hi Employer, You would need Modbus/Profibus to Ethernet gateway to convert the PLC interface to IP (eth) protocol. We have done it here in India for many manufacturing facilities having Siemens PLC/CNC machine and they want to bring it to IP technolgy.
