Need to create a script to run a remote process on our server, invoked via a URL and running in the background. We will only pass a process ID, token ID, and the page will read from a SQL2008 R2 database to fetch the name / parameters of actual path \ process. Process could be either an executable or batch file.
The user credentials (user/pw) for that process will also be stored in the DB and used during the execution of that process. The script will update the status of the process to executed.
The output will be captured and stored in the db, and optionally be sent back to the [url removed, login to view] script, if a parameters is specified in the URL. One of the processes that could run in the server is the curl, so that would return an html. The batch file or executable must return the stdout and store it at least on the DB process table, and optionally return it to the browser.
Lastly, we will need to pass a security token as well to match the process id, as to avoid random triggering of the process.
I prefer if you have skype.
