This program should make it possible to extend the MS Lync client menu for sending SMS.
When a user right-click a contact in the Lync client there should be a new menu item "Send SMS".
This menu item should open a new program for sending SMS. The program gets the sip address from the Lync client as a parameter, e.g. sip:. The program should query MS Exchange via WebDav (Exchange 2000/2003) or MS Exchange Web Services (Exchange 2007/2010) for the sip-user's cell phone number. The program needs to have a memo edit for the SMS message and a send button. When the user clicks the send button the program invokes a web service with the cell phone number and the text message as parameters.
One method of making the menu is using Custom Commands in Lync. [url removed, login to view] but this also invokes a new Lync Conversation window. We dont want the user to see this window. One way to solve this is described here: [url removed, login to view]
If you know a better way of solving this you can use that way.
A setup program should be included.
We require complete and fully-functional working program in executable form as well as complete documented source code of all work done so that I may modify it in the future.
We need to have exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
