I am producing a small series of Sanskrit and Hindi bhajans rendered strictly in the classical style. I need a female voice that can stand entirely on its own, so please be comfortable recording a-capella: no instrumental track, no tanpura drone, nothing but your vocal line. You will deliver clean, studio-grade takes in both raw WAV (24-bit/48 kHz) and lightly mastered MP3 so I have flexibility in the final mix. A quiet recording space, good microphone technique, and basic familiarity with DAWs such as Logic, Pro Tools, or Reaper are essential—the quieter and clearer the capture, the better. For each composition I will share the lyrics, notation, and a reference rendition. Your job is to recreate the melody faithfully, honouring classical ornamentation (gamakas, meend, etc.) while keeping diction crisp and devotional feeling intact. Minor improvisational touches are welcome as long as they respect raga grammar. Acceptance will be based on pitch accuracy, pronunciation of Sanskrit and Hindi, lack of background noise, and overall emotive delivery.
